Hello there!

Sorry for my repeated breaks, I really can't help it, I have had way too many things on my shoulders and I didn't have time to write, however, I started revising all the years. :) Unfortunately, I have no time to write new reviews (I'll try in the summer, but I'm not promising anything) and sometimes it's unnecessary. Right now, all the years are done. There are some changes, an actress has gained THREE wins even though she had zero before. :)

Also, I started a new rating system, which will hopefully help me be less generous with the grades. So let me introduce it:

You just have to work harder to get Janes from me. ;)

And of course, I'll go on with 1999 (I'll finish it, even if they have to tie me down to do it).

I hope you all had a great Easter. :)

Finally, I was waiting for Jane to make the final step as Queen of your Blog! :-)

Some of the changes surprised me - Susan Hayward in 1955 and Vanessa in 1984 especially and I'm a little sad that Glenda is no longer your choice for 1973. But I'll be looking forward to all your updates! :-)

I'm done Fritz. Yeah, Susie surprised me, too and Glenda, well, I've become more objective about her. :/ I still love her, though.

She has always been. ;)

Happy to see something from you.
And now I have another reason to look forward summer... :)

Yeah, but I hope that you all get that by new reviews in the summer I meant changing the old ones. Of course, I'll go on with the new years until summer. :)))

Ellen Burstyn became a two time winner. Sissy Spacek lost for CMD and won for Carrie. Glenda Jackson and Gena Rowlands lost their awards. You picked Susan Hayward over Anna Magnani, and most surprisingly, Jessica Lange over Meryl Streep. I noted these changes.

It's interesting you done some revaluations, but I hope you don't change some special years for me (like 1998). I'm still waiting for the legendary races of 1950, 1967, 1968 and 1991. :)

OMG, Ellen became a THREE times (not two) winner! Wow. Hope she gets a fourth with 2000's review, haha.

LOL, that's right. The last time I checked Gena Rowlands was still the winner in 1974. Seems like Ellen has really convinced you and she now has more wins than Jane! :-o

Well, Ellen was my original choice anyway but I screwed up and posted a post with Gena as a winner and you had already commented so I left it that way and I was fine. But having done some thinking about Gena, I find her slighty off-putting and overrated. She's a bit calculated for me.

Hello, I was wondering that whenever you finish 1999, if you can do the best actresses of 2008? I really loved Anne Hathaway's performance in 'Rachel Getting Married' and felt she deserved the Oscar (I really wished she won for this role instead of Les Miserables). I'm really interested about what you think about the stunning 2008 line-up :)
