The Next Year

1957


So the nominees were:
  • Deborah Kerr in Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison
  • Anna Magnani in Wild is the Wind
  • Elizabeth Taylor in Raintree County
  • Lana Turner in Peyton Place
  • Joanne Woodward in The Three Faces of Eve
It is said to be a weak year but I've only seen Joanne previously, so it's going to be an interesting one to explore. I can't wait to see all the movies.

    Louis: Yes, it is since I don't really like any of these actresses, except for Magnani. That's why I picked this year, to see if they can surprise. :D
