At loss for words...

Seriously, the Academy has disappointed me so many times... But to quote Meryl "Not today". No need to say more, except that they picked my two favorite nominated performances:

Thumbs up Academy!

More on the show later. :) I'll leave you with this for now. :)

Honestly, I'm more happy for you than Meryl! I have a feeling you would resent Viola if she won, which would eventually turn to pure hatred. Just a hunch. ;)

Streep apparently should wear gold to the ceremony more often.

Dujardin is the best best actor winner in quite awhile.

I was delighted by the winners! I mean I was sure Dujardin would win because he was the best in his category and I would have killed myself if Clooney pulled an upset, and about Streep, What a shock! I was so sure Viola would win and desperatly et secretly I was hoping for an upset by Meryl! She deserved it so much for everything she's done, for the lovely person she is, for her body of work, for being the best living actress, and for her performance. According to me, she was not the best in her category (all is subjective) but I was rooting for her, she deserved it so much, She had to be part of history and to be include in the small group who includes ingrid Bergman, Jack Nicholson and the Amazing katharine Hepburn.
About Octavia, I love her, I love Jessica, I love Melissa, I don't care about Janet but I was hoping for an upset by Miss Bejo, I think she didn't get what she deserved during all the award season, and she was overshadowed by Dujardin whereas she is fantastic and equally good in The Artist.
I really don't care about plummer winning.

And the cherry on the cake, the Artist winning best Picture, the academy made the right decison, because it is hands down the best picture of the year. Some might argued that it's not the best film because all of this is subjective, but the film is perfect to recall why we love movies, and why they are important in our lives.

I still feel Viola should have won, but to each his own!
